Doom, gloom, credit crunching & redundancies. Yes it’s not pretty however for employers looking to reduce recruitment costs and attract the best talent quickly and easily, there’s never been a better time. The CIPD’s latest official unemployment figures show that some 146,000 more people joined the dole queue in the final 1/4 of 2008 bringing the total number of people out of work to 1.97 million.
