For someone who hadn't even been on the internet till her first year of university – Joanne has clocked up considerable mileage over the years. An avid devourer of media - online and off – a career in branding has been an eerily predestined path for her.
From co-running an underground music website through varsity and internships, to eventually running production at a creative media and design agency in Cape Town, she’s always been fascinated with the question of how to get a brand off the proverbial shelf and into consumers’ hands?
With an interest in industries thriving on the internet, topics around on-line recruitment, employer branding and the recruitment industry in general, are often found littered around her desk and Firefox bookmarks.
Having felt the burn of choosing the wrong company to work for (back when wide eyed and wet behind the ears on leaving university) she’s been drawn to helping confident and motivated career builders find positions that respect and enable their individual visions ever since.
